“Does anyone have an example of a Christian podcast?” That simple question changed everything. Iren, who was serving in our church social media team, was helping with a new podcast ministry. She asked around, and I happened to know a few good ones I often listened to. That one question brought us closer. What started as a chat about podcasts turned into long, random conversations.

What began as small talk grew into deeper conversations about life; our stories, our differences and similarities, our joys and struggles, and most importantly, our faith in Jesus Christ. We both knew this relationship was headed somewhere, so we chose to pray and discern it together. On the night of November 12, 2022, we prayed and committed to one another, to keep learning how to love and to make sacrifices for each other. That night marked the beginning of a new chapter in our journey: becoming a couple.

We laughed, cried, argued, learned, and grew together. Through it all, we learned to love one another as Christ loves His church. After all the growth we had been through, one question remained: what was holding us back from the next step: marriage? On March 15, 2025, our families met, and we received their blessing to begin this new chapter. That day, we agreed to get married.
